And it might not be easy to find the right person to hire since the candidates are a little less than ideal – from a dead-eyed cowboy staring into the distance, to a Red Bull-huffing ER doctor, to a person who might only be applying to the job to stalk their ex-boyfriend. Find out who makes the grade in this series of hilarious job interviews gone wrong – Also, it might be true that Maxxcorp is a shadowy organization dedicated to sending an orbiting death laser into space to control the world, but hey, they have great benefits.

This is a really fun vignette-style play that’s perfect for a theater class production. It can be produced on its own, or paired with Gainful Employment – Part Two which will feature many of the same characters on “take your daughter to work” day at Maxxcorp, a day when a lot of petty conflicts in the office emerge, which is bad timing because a super spy is landing at their secret volcano island base.
